Posted too soon

My ovaries looked like hell on the baseline sono. Nothing in lefty and a cyst and two follicles in righty. The worse baseline, yet. Hmmm so was it the....
Femara
Estradiol
or Gani*relix?

We'll never know. Yes, I almost cried on my way back, but the words of Nice Dr. were, "You are young and healthy." We can screen you every month. Once we find 5 follicles we will begin the stimulation.

On the bad side, I was being totally optimistic and bought all of the meds. Now they are just sitting there. Staring me in the face. If I do a donor cycle, they will probably be too many.

Take a breath and wait for the next round. Find ways to relax...easy to say, hard to do...believe me I know. But do it anyway.

Sweet M, well, fuck. I am so sorry. Young and healthy is a very nice thing to hear and I like the idea of waiting until you have a good baseline, but I hate (HATE) the waiting part. If you are ready to do this thing I wish your body would be ready right now too. So-- my baseline last cycle showed 4.
Might you consider an IUI unmedicated this month? Or maybe monitor, trigger and IUI? Just wishing for options for you--with love, kate

Ugh. I am so sorry for the bad news. It is so tough to get these setbacks! Hang in there and take care of yourself. Hopefully next month the baseline ultrasound will look better!

Sorry you have this setback; hopefully things will work better next month. If you end up doing donor egg, chances are your donor will need the drugs you don't use, so don't worry about having too much. They make you pay for them regardless! Hoping you won't need to go that route - j

Geesh, sorry!! What a bummer on so many levels- especially having the meds sitting there (paid for!!) and knowing you probably can't use them...Thinking of you!!

thinking of you M, and hoping that your spring has been filled with beautiful moments in between the rest of this bullcrapitude. I fed a bazililon mosquitoes today cutting the grass, my first real heartpounding exercise in a long while. It felt really good, while being really sad. I am looking forward to some time in the future where feelings can be more simple-- when good can just be good. Wishing this on you too. Warmly, Kate
